My Story
I’m Jillian, a Japanese-Canadian photographer and videographer, and I LOVE what I do!
From the first time I picked up a camera, I knew it was something I wanted to pursue. As a self-taught teen, I quickly fell in love with photography, and while the technology has changed over time, my motivation hasn’t. I aim to capture moments that matter—unique places, unforgettable people, and the beauty of nature.
My goal is to tell stories that encourage others to see the world a little differently. I hope my work inspires you to pause, take it all in, and appreciate the moments and beauty around us.

Film has the power to move people, and that’s exactly what I aim to do, whether it’s for a brand, a documentary, or a wildlife project. My work is all about capturing emotion, movement, and meaning in a way that draws people in and makes them feel something. I collaborate with creatives to design and produce authentic and compelling styles and enhance storytelling on screen.

Great photography isn’t just about capturing an image, it’s about telling a story. Whether I’m working on a commercial shoot, a documentary project, or out in the wild chasing golden-hour light, I focus on creating visuals that feel alive. I work hard to curate and produce high-quality imagery to help share impactful moments whether it is personal, commercial, or anything in between.
